Medicines
The unique signature of my products lies in the way that I approach healing in every aspect.
In making a medicine I use the plant synergies but then I bring in a ‘catalytic approach’. Working entirely intuitively and spontaneously another
herb or oil will suggest itself. Like a magic spark plug only then does the formula
seem complete as it sparks off a whole new potential.
Tinctures in bottles are only available at my dispensary. Salves in tins and the pack of Herbal Antibiotic can be sent by post within the U.K. mainland.

Bios Antibiotic
the meaning of antibiotic is in the word itself:
Anti (against) Bio (life)
Herbs work in the opposite way. There are natural inhibitors in the plant kingdom which counteract the bacteria and microbes which are the cause of the illness. The plants not only deal with the invaders but also boost your natural immune system against further attack, building a stronger system each time.
This mix contains dried Lavender heads and flowers and leaves of dried Thyme.
How to Use
Infuse a large pinch of the herb mix in a cup of boiling water. Strain off after 10 minutes when the tea is warm.
Sip often for colds, flu, bronchitis, strep throat, urinary tract infections, sinusitis and other problems that you would normally rely on pharmaceutical antibiotics to control.
The tea can be used to clean wounds so that they heal more quickly.
Fungal Nail Infections: Clean well with the cold tea and then wrap the toe in tea-soaked lint. Cover with a waterproof layer for an hour until the body heat has dried the lint out. Remove the waterproof layer and leave the dry lint to continue its work until the next treatment.

Changes Tincture
This is a truly wonderful help through the major changes in life. Crafted from Gotu Kola, Holy Basil and Walnut Leaf it has the ability to adapt to men, women and children going through all types of change.

Gotu Kola has been used successfully to help recovery after surgery. Here it acts as a sedative for nerve pain, anxiety and as a blood tonic. For centuries it has helped women going through perimenopause and enhanced their old age by balancing the hormones.

Holy Basil adds a lifting of the spirit that is going through a time of depression, low self-esteem or feelings of worthlessness. A man who has lost his job; a child going to a new school at the confusing time of puberty; a woman whose marriage has broken down having to make a new life and new friends; these situations are particularly helped by Holy Basil.

Walnut Leaf brings the aspect of change in the interactions with others and the pressures of our current society. Specifically I would recommend this tonic for people labelled ADHD whose main ‘problem’ often is that they are highly strung and sensitive at the same time.
Dose
The 500ml bottle is two months supply of two squirts in any hot or cold drink daily. It can also be added to a water bottle to be sipped on the go. The dose can be doubled if you feel the need.
N.B. Not to be used in pregnancy.

Comfrey and Clove Balm
Comfrey 's country name is 'Knitbone'. It is still held in high regard for both internal use as a herb tea and exterior use. Greenstick fractures need no more than this to heal evenly.
It is the remedy to use for painful sprains where it repairs muscle and tendon connections. The addition of Clove provides strong pain relief lightly numbing the frayed nerve endings and building new nerve tissue. Highly recommended by a local gardener! Rest the area as much as possible. Being a hero just makes it last longer.
After joint replacement operations it heals the trauma to the area and is invaluable. It rebuilds the natural muscle which will 'clothe' the artificial joint and let nerves connect around the area. The balm will bring a gentle warming as it is smoothed in.

Chilli and Juniper Salve
This mix works on the blood supply system. It frees 'frozen shoulder', arthritic joints and rheumatism, warming and easing them. The Juniper works to expel the uric acid which builds up in stiff joints.
For gout, gently massage the salve into the joint with a circular motion. Keep the area warm and gently move the joint to bring blood flow back to the area after the cramping pain subsides.
With elderly rheumatic hands and fingers after rubbing the salve over the hands thoroughly and allowing time for it to be absorbed, keep the hands warm wearing fingerless gloves. In winter sheepskin mittens are helpful.
Dose
Apply three to four times a day.

Hawthorn Tincture
Works on the heart brain and lung circuit.
High blood pressure; angina; low blood pressure; tachycardia, irregular heartbeat; palpitations; heart enlargement in athletes; thickening of the arteries particularly coronary; varicosed veins; breathlessness; nervous palpitations.
The traditional and well proven Hawthorn Berry tincture has been given a superior twist with the addition of Ginkgo Biloba and Valerian. These provide a natural synergy making the tincture more complete.
To be taken regularly three times a day. Continuos use brings the greatest benefits.
Dose
Three squirts in hot or cold drinks. The bottle will last roughly one month.

Rose Unguent
Unguent is derived from the verb 'to anoint' and the rose has been revered across the world and throughout centuries as an excellent beauty cream. It brings youthful elasticity and nourishment back to the face and neck.
It is so much more than this though. It can heal acne, burns, bruises and eczema. The collagen it contains enables scar tissue to soften and become more comfortable. It lifts the spirits and is an anti depressant… such a benefit to those who have had a breast removed after cancer.
After surgery, there is often an unvoiced feeling of loss and abuse. Grateful to the surgeons yet sad to see big scars or missing parts of their body.
I only use the Damask Rose known as 'the apothecary's rose'. It is not highly scented but its herbal attributes are stronger. I teamed it with Rose Geranium essential oil whose intriguing scent and plant chemistry increases the whole recipe.
Dose
Apply twice a day the night time one being more liberal.

Whoosh Mouthwash
Regular mouthwash is notorious for it's origins and harmful in its effects.
Here I have used Thyme flowers and leaves and Lavender flowers to make a mouthwash which can actually preserve your teeth. It kills all bacteria and viruses.
There is a way to use it to best advantage. To get just under the gum at the edge of each tooth, you should not only swish it up into the top of the mouth but let it soak in the bottom of the mouth to flood the lower palate.
It is also effective for throat problems and tonsillitis. A few squirts in a little warm water can be used as a gargle and again held in the back of the throat to work on the soft tissue around the area of the tonsils. It is excellent for swellings on the gums, mouth ulcers and to follow on after dental treatment and extractions.
Dose
Spray a few squirts from the bottle directly onto the tongue where the saliva will immediately well up and mix in with the herb tincture. This is all you need but children will probably need the sprays put into a small amount of warm water first. After it has done its job in the mouth it should be swallowed down where it continues its work lining the oesophagus.
