Wound Healing Ointment

The humble Plantain that grows in lawns, is in fact an ancient wound healer known worldwide, as is Lavender.

This ointment slows the blood flow, eases the pain, kills bacteria and is a natural antiseptic. I've added some Melissa essential oil which contracts the blood vessels and helps with the tissue shock.

After the usual actions of raising the cut above heart level and applying gentle pressure, put a generous amount of the ointment on a plaster and leave in place for 24hrs.
